Here is a compilation of questions that we are always asked. We continue to update them as we get more feedback from our clients.
1. What is the minimum requirements for the VSuites Technology products?
There is no exclusive or specific hardware brand for our application. A PC will work because the application is not hardware-dependent. These are browser-based or web-based. All one needs is an internet connection to put these technologies to work. However, we recommend the minimum hardware specifications for the following products:
- For VWater, VCheckout, VWallet: Core Two Duo Processor, At least 2GB RAM installed, Minimum of 250GB HDD
- For VBroadcast: Core Two Duo Processor At least 2GB RAM installed Minimum of 250GB HDD HD ready Video Card
2. As an end user what do I need to do?
Our VSuites business applications can be accessed REMOTELY, (i.e. via our own server) software and data will be installed on our company’s server or LOCALLY, (i.e. via your own server) software and data will be installed on your own company’s server system. To access the products locally, you will need to get a public IP address from your local internet provider.
- Where do I get a public IP?:Any of those local based IP provider. (PLDT, Smart,Globe,etc)
- What is the average cost of Public IPs: As of this date of writing, it averages around Php 2,000
3. What is the recommended browser to use?
We highly recommend Firefox Mozilla as it is one of the most updated browsers in the market today. But you can also use the browser of your choice.
4. How do you install the application on my computer?
If you opt to have the software installed on your own computer, our technical support team can do that for you free of charge.
5. I have an old PC, can I use it?
If the browser in your old PC works then our application will work too.
6. I have an existing system in my company, how will you go about the change to your system? What do I need to do to facilitate the use of the new software system?
We recommend parallel testing and then gradually turn the new application over the existing.
7. What is the value of your product compared to others in the market?
- Our application is operating system-independent. It can run on Windows, Linux/Unix and even on a Mac because it's web-based. It is an “access anywhere” application.
- System roll out is as easy as going to our website and – voila! – getting instant access to our application
- Since our applications are web-based, maintenance is fairly easy and hassle-free. Issues and bugs can be fixed via remote access from our Tech Support center to your office.
